Who we are
island Telecom has been trading on the Isle of Wight for 36 years, specialising in turnkey communications for businesses across the Island. We design and install bespoke, on-premises telephone systems — a personal alternative to rigid, plug-and-play boxes — alongside structured cabling, WiFi, CCTV, broadband and dedicated leased lines.
When you call, you speak to someone who knows the Island and knows your site. We're small on purpose: it means faster answers, no jargon, and a team that's still here next year — not a mainland call centre reading from a script.

2027 PSTN switch-off
BT is switching off the old analogue and ISDN network. If your business is still on a traditional line, you need a plan before one's made for you. We can adapt your existing system to run on the new digital lines — often without the cost of a full replacement — or install a fresh system if you'd prefer a clean start. We also provide 4G/5G backup so you're never caught out.
